Ishsta Glass
From slot machines to machine learning, and everything in between.
About Me
A bit about who I am
I'm Ishsta Glass, an Atlas graduate who found his footing in the gaming industry as a slot technician and never really looked back.
I own Native Slots, which keeps me close to the machines and the business behind them. A big part of what I do is slot analytics: taking performance data seriously, finding what the numbers are actually saying, and acting on it.
More recently, I've been investing time into machine learning. Gaming generates a remarkable amount of data, and most of it goes underutilised. I'm interested in changing that.
I like working at the intersection of things that don't obviously belong together. That's usually where the interesting problems are.

WayPoint
StartupWayPoint is a personal safety and journey-tracking project built as a small monorepo. The current prototype focuses on a mobile experience for planning safer routes, starting a journey, sharing progress with trusted contacts, and surfacing alerts if something goes off track.
